So I have officially given up on art for the forseeable future.
I'll only be coming in DA to look at works. I have finally come to the realisation that no matter how much I practice or how much effort I put into my work it always turns out horrid.

And for a while I have been feeling crazy stagnated. felt like i was going no where and was questioning my creative ability....
Well I'm out of that hole now. I will aim to have at least 3 uploads a week, and I will be starting commissions and art trades very soon.
I am aware I haven't got much artwork up yet but criticism is welcome. Let me know what you think

As of now I will be starting on my way to Illustrative animation. I have a year and a half to go through many topics, ideas and techniques, in order to produce my best works as part of my application portfolio to Uni.
I have planned out for the next year and a half Topics for each month that I will focus on, each building up skills in the respective areas of study (i.e. lighting, textures, environments etc.). I will be attempting to produce at least 3 pieces of work every week which I will update on my page here and on my blog Tumblr.
I welcome critiquing and constructive criticism of my work, so I know where I need to improve.
A year and a half may seem like long, but I know it will whiz by. I hope you can join my for the ride!

P.S. Ive put a crap ton of my older works in storage to make room for my new stuff.

So as in of this week I will be deleting almost all my previous deviations. This is to make way for new ones, and also to purge old ideas and old images from my body of work.
If there are any deviations you like save them to your computer now as they will be gone by the end of the week.

Sooooo as many of you know I have been VERY inactive for a while. This partly to do with the fact that I'm working full time and by the time i get home i cant be bothered to do much, and partly I haven't had the right tools, and partly because I've been busy with other things in life.

I'm glad to finally be able to get back on deviant art again. Although I haven't uploaded any digital artwork in a while I have gotten back into painting models and am really enjoying it. I am currently working on a 1000-1500 pt Lizard man army. And I will be posting the finished pieces on my page here, with all the W.I.P shots on my Blog: horatioarcherfish.wordpress.co… and twitter: twitter.com/HArcherfish.

I have gotten a few ideas for more digital artwork but that will have to wait until I can secure a new graphics tablet.
